It's an awesome feeling to watch the Flames keep moving up the standings even when the OOT sucks. You can talk about controlling your own destiny, but the Flames haven't actually hiked up their jeans and grabbed their own fate by the horns like this in a while.

Like GG says: win and you're in.

As the game sample size grows, both Stone and Bartkowski are looking like solid additions to the back end. Looking good Mr. Treliving!

Good point. I don't recall him ever going for a slapper with such authority during a game, though. His confidence level is high. This bodes well for the team.

He's still the 7th Defenseman isn't he? Or do you think Kulak would play ahead of him?

I still think they are just one injury away from wideman drawing back in. Expecting a long playoff run, I'm sure we'll see him.

He. Is. Awesome.
How swede it is!

But seriously how didn't Gaudreau get a penalty shot? I know it didn't matter this game but those type of calls could cost us big time down the stretch.

I'm seriously puzzled how the ref didn't think it was a penalty shot. He should have to come out and explain that call.

Thor will see the ice before Wideman does.

Just got back from the game. My god the atmosphere at Flames games is absolutely terrible. It was so quiet in the second and third periods that I could've taken a nap!

Overtime was a completely different story, for those few minutes the place was rockin! We need more of that!

We need a player or coach to call the fans out and ask for some more noise. Its the only way it gets better

Tkachuk would be the perfect guy to do this!

If your GG do you place Lazar in the lineup next game and he takes Brouwers spot? I think he needs to sit. Terribad.

Calgary sports fans are terrible in pretty much all situations save for very intense, special moments. Same with concert crowds, just abysmal. It's part and parcel of living in a high income, white collar city. They'll pay for tickets, but they're coming to act like white collar business people, and no more.

You don't touch this lineup unless absolutely necessary
