You don't deserve to be in the playoffs if you can't finish games. Love it or hate it the shootout and OT is now part of hockey and the leafs choke more than any team in the extra frame and in shootouts. Quick was in their head. Mental weakness by Kadri and Bozak. Those misses are inexcusable.

With out 14 of those points they would be 28th in the league. Even if they had only 7 loser points they are bottom 5.

They don't need ot to choke . just a third period. Even the last time they made the playoffs against Boston.
The Leafs choke harder then a fat german kid trying to down his slice of Black forest cake.

Marner got all nervous when the puck was on the stick at the end of OT there. All I know is Johnny ####ing finishes games in 3 on 3.

This isn't HF, go take a looksy at who has the most OT points in the league. No where did I say JG was having a better season. Thanks for trying to start an argument tho. Leafs should work on shooting on open nets.

Right. Leafs also play a very different game from the Flames this season.
Flames don't play the run and gun, stretch out the team approach that Hartley employed prior when Johnny put up 78. The team as a whole is better now though, I'd argue, even at the sacrifice of some individual numbers.
But I mean...if that gives you solace while the Leafs are sitting out in April, then I guess.
