Please don't waste a protected slot on Chiasson. This GG reclamation project needs to end. Even in a 4th line role, last night he coughed up the puck on an odd man rush and yet another offensive play (of dozens this season) died on his stick. No hockey IQ.

Another boring deadline day. I'm glad I didn't bother staying up late or getting up early for it.
Really surprised Arizona didn't trade Vrbata. Wasn't there demand and now they will lose him for nothing? Maybe there is a contract extension in the works but they still could have traded him and then signed as a UFA.
Also surprised Colorado didn't start blowing things up with a Duchene trade. Maybe they are waiting for a better offer at the draft or will write off this season as a fluke and try to re-tool in the off season.
