Jay is just freakishly tall. I met him once, and I'm 6'1" and I had to look up at him.

Chris Johnston @reporterchris
There's still cautious optimism the #avs will be able to move Jarome Iginla today. Veteran winger carries a big cap hit: $5.3M.

Landeskog will never look this cool:

There were a couple others that were a touch more graphic that were deleted before anyone had a chance to screencap them too. Guy's a class A vinegarbag.

Duchene a contract and future demands worries me. I prefer Landeskog's 4 more years at 24 to Duchene's 2 years at 26.

Landeskog plays with grit and edge that the Flames will need against the Oilers, Ducks, Sharks etc

You forgot Hamilton. He shouldn't be on the table either.

That's just it though. The concussions have softened Landeskog's game quite a bit.

For me, the injection of speed up the middle with Duchene, shifting Bennett over to the wing, would be an ideal scenario. You'd have a perfect linemate for Sam to continue his development.

It's horribly bad on TSN right now. Had to change the channel to the morning news. The skits are really stupid.

Landeskog would also be a perfect line mate for Bennett and then we could keep Sam at center.

Wow. TSN is just terrible. Tuned in once earlier and saw two comedians(?) with microphones trying to be funny. And now some Letterkenny nonsense trying to be funny. They used to be the go-to place on deadline day.

I guess I'm just getting old and curmudgeonly. Get off of my lawn.

No... I switched to sportsnet and will stay there from here out... TSN variety show comes across as desperate.
