Awesome win! Feels so gooooood....

But hey, would it be too much to ask for the fans at the Dome to wake the f up and make some noise?

It's way worse. People on here will get annoyed when the Oilers win but don't have a specific excuse every single time they win.

Funny - I thought they were pretty boisterous tonight, cheering the hits, saves and giving it to the refs for the missed calls. Was I not hearing correctly?

Gio's ownership of Brown reminds me of when we would simply expect Regehr to destroy Hemsky.

-Bennett was pretty ineffective with the puck tonight but he was really battling. That was a tough game with a ton of board battles
-Overall I was stunned at how tough the Flames played the Kings. It was great and bodes well for playoffs
-3M was off a little bit tonight
-Elliot was solid... thank goodness that dribbler didn't go in at the end
-Agreed about the Gio hit waking up the building. The TV timeouts were brutal for the atmosphere tonight, especially in the first with the two video reviews. They don't show the replay on the screen at the dome, so the fans just have to sit and watch the refs discuss the play. It's a crap policy and I hate it.
-Bishop was very strong for LA... Flames could have had a few in the first period for sure.
-Gaudreau's pass receiving was off the charts today. He's amazing and had a good game. Too bad nothing came of it, but he's flying now.
-THANK YOU BRODIE!!!! GO FLAMES GO!
-My voice is gone from screaming after the game winner... it was really loud and awesome

Crowd was loud when the game got going...I think the fans were in disbelief that they paid $200 to watch a hockey game only to have the home team ####ed over by the league

It took a while for the actual cheering to start, wasn't really until the Gio hit and missed calls that it got boisterous IMO.

This is actually a bigger issue for us. W-L-T is a better predictor of playoff success then then the current point system. It's the winner points that distort the standings not the loser points.

Colby Armstrong on the leafs broadcast called the Brodie goal a "beer league deke". First of Colby, I must have missed any time you had a highlight that looked anything like a goal, and not like you either being dirty or getting knocked out. Secondly, I play in a beer league that I'm fairly certain you couldn't keep up with at this point. Slow your role you big bird looking mouth piece.

Wideman effect be dammed -- Flames with a solid effort against a desperate team. They deserved the two points tonight.

What can you say about Ferland on that first goal. Blows up Muzzin and then leaves him in the corner before unleashing a howitzer past Bishop. That line had several other chances as well -- just couldn't convert. I also noticed Ferland is taking shorter shifts (usually the first forward off) -- very disciplined knowing that he's more effective with lower minutes.

Hockey gods on our side with that Elliott save late in the third off the Gio deflection. Suck it Kings.

I'm actually not a huge fan of Backlund/Frolik in overtime -- they are effective defensively but Frolik isn't as dynamic offensively. So what does Brodie do? He becomes a third forward on that line and pots the winner with a beautiful finish (with Doughty in pursuit). Unreal.

P.S. Kudos to the Flames entertainment team for playing Bananaphone in the first period. Well done.

Nope still not the bigger issue for us.

The teams have the same regulation wins, we have one more OT win and they have one more SO win.

They are just ahead of us because of the loser point and we are not living off OT wins.

LA is the team living off OT, they have 10 overtime wins on the season.

Well, this is a Flames site? Sportsnet is not an Edmonton site?

Good solid game, and the first one I've watched beginning to end in a long time. I think I'm finally ready to buy into this team for the rest of the way.

Every time I watch, I come away more and more impressed with Tkachuk's game. So intelligent. Every little flip of the puck, every dodgy move across the opposition crease, every little bit of agitation done with intent, and without emotion. Such a smart player. I'm increasingly unsure who I'd pick if I could only snag one Flame for a new team: Gaudreau or Tkachuk.

Hopefully these guys are peaking at the right time.

These 4 games against the Kings will be great practice for the playoffs if we make it. They play playoff hockey pretty much every game.

Montreal: no goal light, no signal by the ref, whistle blown -> review: puck crossed the goal line naturally, was not pushed in with the glove = "after review, no goal." No further explanation.

Seriously NHL, your officiating and command center are beyond useless.
