If SJ wins the Cup, the conditional fourth round pick becomes a first-round pick for the Canucks. 4th round or 1st round, no in between.

I'd be really curious why gms agree to these types of conditions. A condition with a one round swing sure. But as of today what value do the Canucks add. A what... 8% chance of a 1st round pick. How do you even value that.
