Personally I would rather secure a spot than worry about the Oilers...I won't be cheering for the Kings to beat the Oilers when LA is the only team that can realistically keep Calgary from making the playoffs
besides, I would rather knock the Oilers out of the playoffs ourselves

haven't been this excited for a regular season game since the game vs LA when we clinched a playoff spot...
While a win tonight doesn't guarantee anything, it would definitely be a big step towards it...
I hope anyone lucky enough to have tickets have their jerseys and bring their Lungs!

I've got a hard time seeing the Flames missing the playoffs if they win in regulation tonight. It would take a pretty big collapse.
Kings aren't going to make up a 7 point deficit. The three games left against them are at the end of March and into April. It could very easily be all but over by then. They aren't scoring goals these days and it's only going to get harder as the games get tighter down the stretch.
now if the Kings win tonight and are only 3 back......game on for them.

This is one of those games I wish the Flames had a Hunter Smith type in the lineup to keep the Kings honest. Gotta expect the Kings are going to be taking runs at the Flames' skill guys.

Should be an intense game. Glad they're rounding into form and playing meaningful games now as I wasn't confident that would be the case earlier in the season.
Time to pound the first nail into the Kings playoff coffin. I'll say it'll be a 3-2 nailbiter with the Flames pulling out the win in regulation. Bennett, Tkachuk and Hamilton with goals.
