Vrbata is going to command a huge price tag and really has not been consistently good outside of Arizona. That's a risk the Pens or Sharks could probably take, not this team at its current stage.

Who does he replace? Ferland, Frolik, Brouwer, Chaisson?
He is not a 4th liner. Maybe he fits with Monahan and Gaudreau but Ferland up there is better having a big body on the line that will stand up for his teammates is important considering the liberties other teams have taken with Gaudreau this year

I know his numbers. Spends 3 minutes per game on the PP, no PK time. I really don't see him being a fit on the bottom six, and in terms of top six ... well. Last year he wasn't good enough anymore to play with the Sedins, so let's say I'm a bit skeptical.
He's cheap though, so if they think they absolutely have to add somebody, then he'd be my pick I guess.
