I guess it's possible that he could be claimed. But either way he wouldn't be a substantial loss. Either one of Wotherspoon or Kulak can replace him, so he's moving to 9-10 on the teams depth chart at this point depending on if Wideman is still around or if someone else come in.

He's been pretty dreadful this year and has been given lots of oppurtunites to secure a spot but didn't come close to earning it. I doubt he gets picked up. He's had maybe 3-4 good periods. Lots of bad.

Plays best as a center, but we don't have the room for him down the middle. He also costs $2 million this year, so I would say no dice - although if Stajan wasn't around he would be an excellent pickup.
