Kinda torn. I'm really hoping Leafs overpay with a 1st, and still miss the playoffs. But then, it's to the lightning, which is up there with the Ducks as my most hated team outside of the other Canadian teams.

With RFAs, i believe that if vegas signs them from a team, that team can't lose another player in the expansion draft...
With UFA, i am not sure if they actually "count" as a loss for us in the expansion draft? In theory, Vegas uses the 48hr UFA head start and signs Stone...Would they still be able to pick someone like Brouwer as well?
Maybe someone with a better reading/understanding of the expansion draft rules can answer this question?

My understanding is in that case Stone would count as the player we lose and we wouldn't lose another.

Subban, Kane, Johanssen 3 guys who were rumored to not be overly popular with their previous teammates. Not sure that is a good deal for Nashville but similar to Weber-Subban they would do just as good on talent while getting younger

Basically it comes down to which team has the best chance at the Cup this year. I'd go with Pittsburgh because they have guys who have won two cups on that team. I'd go against Pittsburgh because they just won it last year and back to backs are now super hard to do.
