Great to see Dougie keeping up the streak. You don't mess with what has gotten us here.

The Flames are now closer to the Ducks and Oilers than the Kings are to the Flames.
Also, they're now guaranteed to spend the trade deadline in a playoff spot.

They've been good this season, but to hear them talk down to other teams like they're somehow above them is shocking.

I thought I would have to watch the Oilers love fest to wait for the photo bomb. But no, thanks to CP, I am saved. Thanks!

What? No. The Oilers have not been good this season, they've gotten Ungodly goaltending and offence from a wunderkind and they've parlayed this into a significant number of loser-points.

I am not even sure I would give them this much credit: McDavid and his line has been very good. Talbot has been great. The Oilers don't have a lot of depth and are a prime candidate to get exposed for it in the playoffs.

The more I see of him, the more I put stock in the rumour that he just was too young for that room. He felt isolated and couldn't really get in his own groove was the rumour. I believe it now.

The post-Wideman era has been as glorious as I imagined (yes he's not gone, but I doubt he's getting back in soon, and will be gone shortly).
The iffy calls are slowly becoming less egregious too.

Someone in the GDT, by some stroke of hockey wizardry, predicted a Gaudreau breakout today. Identify yourself.
