www.rentfaster.ca is the best to rent from a list IMO. Just wondering if you've tried there or not.

i use homerent.ca. not as fancy, but the listings seem to be much more up to date and the site seems to get the most traffic of any Calgary renting site

Maybe it is just me, (broke college student) but is there really much of a market for luxury apartments? It would seem to me that if someone has the money to pay for this monthly, they would have to money to be able to buy a condo like this instead.

Well considering it's been rented for 2.5 years, I'd say there's a market.. There's lots of reasons someone may need this sort of thing.

We have people at my work who live in Houston and commute back to Calgary during the week. 20 nights of hotel would cost them $3-4000 plus all the hassles of checking in and out, packing and un packing, keeping food there, etc.

I would say that out of the 1500 people in our Calgary office, at least 50 would have a use for a place like this. Multiply that by 100 companies the size of mine downtown you can see the demand for it.

One of our potential renters was a relatively recent immigrant from the UK. High paying job here, but was on a work permit so he couldn't get his mortgage.

Used to live in that building. In fact one of my units appears to be your samefloor plan. Great building, best part is walking distance to 4th St.

My friend's mom lives there and it is a beautiful place. I am sure with Calgary booming you will find a tenant soon enough.
