Love these early games, means i can get to be before the sun starts to come up. Hoping for a high scoring game for my fantasy team but ultimately a win for the good guys.

Don't know why I'm nervous. I guess because I'm starting to dream the Flames might be a pretty good team and go somewhere this year and if you're a long time Flames fan, you understand disappointment.

No help from the OOT last night. Need to keep winning as there's very little breathing room. Hope the Flames aren't looking past Canes and at the Kings on Tuesday.
Carolina is 2nd last in the east but only cause they have played 3 or 4 less games than everyone else. They're firmly in the playoff mix and it would not surprise me if they beat us today.

According to NHL.com, today is Monahan's 300th NHL game, if he gets two assists today his stats will be:
300GP, 100G, 100A, 200P
That would be crazy (and satisfying for those with OCD)!
