Brutal thread, and some embarrassing commentary from the now MIA RoughRiderRowdy.

Dougie looking every bit the part. Will be a No. 1 d-man for years to come and we got him for a song.

Ricardow is another guy MIA after some very embarrassing comments.

Must be tough for him watching Hamilton and Frolik all year.

39 points currently sits 7th in D scoring.

----------------- - - GP G A P
Brent Burns D SJ 60 27 37 64
Erik Karlsson D Ott 58 10 42 52
Victor Hedman D TB 57 10 39 49
K Shattenkirk D StL 60 11 31 42
Duncan Keith D Chi 61 5 36 41
Dustin Byfuglien D Wpg 63 9 30 39
Justin Schultz D Pit 56 9 30 39
D Hamilton D Cgy 60 10 29 39

On pace to finish with 13 goals and 52 points. Can he break into the top 5 by the end of the season?

Astonishing this thread was started so recently. Guy is a stud.

It's worth considering why the team that knew him best let him go for picks when it was time to pay him big money.
This is still the craziest thing posted in the thread TBH.

Dougie is the Flames best dman and will likely be one of the best in the league within a couple years.

Imagine his point totals if he was actually on the #1 PP unit and playing more than 20 mins a night like he should be.

Nope. It's this gem:

It's such a punch in the dick that Hamilton is doing so well and now all of a sudden Brodie has forgotten how to play hockey (exaggeration of course). Same thing up front, 3M is unreal but the top line are all -10.

Why can't everything go right at the same time?

It's even better to read it on HF. Everyone's like "oh johnny must be going the other way, or Brodie++, or Bennett"

And then it was just picks bahahahahahahaha

I can't remember a time where I felt this good after a trade than the day we got Dougie. Adding a stud 21 year old D for the 15th pick and some 2nds was amazing. All you
Hear about now is just how hard it is to get a young right shot D. Taylor Hall trade immediately comes to mind. Simply fleeced the Bruins as Hamilton is now playing like the guy we hoped. Looks great with Gio and is amazing offensively.

Because Gio can't be the D partner for 2 guys?

Dougie is now #6 in defenceman scoring.

Next at #5 is Drew Doughty.

Also, HF thread for quick reference (had it bookmarked)
Confirmed: Dougie Hamilton to Flames for 15th, 45th, and 52nd

Gio and Hamilton are such a great pairing. Hamilton has exceeded my expectations so far and is only getting better. He looks so comfortable playing with Gio as well knowing if he makes a mistake that Gio is fast enough to cover for him.

I honestly don't even remember the last time he made a glaring mistake. Earlier in the season he was making at least one a game and in the last 20 games I can't even remember one.

And he's a lot more physical this season. We have something special with him.
