I'd like to see Stone lining up as the shot from the right point in the PP.

If everyone's sticks were 3-4 inches shorter, it may open the game up a bit.
eh, this game has been pretty sloppy. I am more inclined for Goalie pads to be scaled back like they said. Still have not seen any change besides their pants being slimmed.

Decent first, other than the soft D by Engelland and Bartkowski on the goal. Are the Flames the only NHL team that doesn't use a point shot on their #1 PP?

Why do goalies continually play us so well, or alternatively(?), why do we continually make goalies look good?

Aside from the once in a blue moon game like in Nashville, we have to put up a ton of scoring chances to get our goals. Is it just an overall lack of scoring ability on this roster?

I hope they can break through and make some chances count here.

I really would like to see Tkachuk take a couple slappers or wristers from the circle on the PP. I was re-watching some of his Junior highlights and I know its Junior but he scored some blinders from the top of the circle. I'm not expecting Laine but Versteeg just isn't working and is better as a puck mover on the pp.

No idea why Dougie isn't in the Brodie position. The PP has no threat to shoot on the first unit and teams know it.

Well I think Gully could change up the PP schemes like I said in an above post. Utilize players differently and see if it works. Having Versteeg take useless slapshots that ends PP possession is not smart.

Tkachuk should be on the first unit ahead of Brouwer, he's only a better passer, shooter, wall player, net front presence...

Just amazing how some can't handle GT comments. Maybe you need another break? It's amazing you're a police officer, or a mall cop or whatever you claim to be and are so emotional over a comment about a player in a game thread.

If you can't handle comments in the GT without it hurting your feelings then don't participate in the GT.

And maybe you could sit quietly and just watch the game.

It had nothing to do with that one comment. It is amazing why a poster continues to post on a message board that never has anything positive to say. Why do you have to crap on everything? It is your M.O and it is just old. Why is everything so negative?

I agree I think their reasoning is they don't want to break up the 3M line but I don't think that should matter.

If it was up to me it would be Hamilton and Gio with Gaudreau Monahan and Tkachuk on the first unit.

Second unit would be Brodie, Stone With Backlund Brouwer and Bennett.

It's the GT so no I won't sit quietly and watch the game. If you don't like it then too bad.
