He barely skates with the puck anymore. Pivots and passes, or rims the glass when pressured. Doesn't move his feet nearly enough.

Yeah I don't think any of the goals have been his fault. That said, it would be nice if he bailed them out once in a while. IMO that's why he's a 1A/1B guy as opposed to a legitimate starter. I'd pull him just to shake it up.

Might be time to get Bobby Knight to demonstrate what he thinks of the Flames play. No more kid gloves for these uppity little millenials.

Monahans man, though it does look like some of the confusion is because gio arrives late.

Yeah, but you notice it especially when he's retrieving pucks on the PP. He looks so carefree out there. No intensity

Yeah I get that, but if you can't appreciate good hockey when you see it, what's the point of watching? If you only care about your team winning safely, you're going to be frustrated most of the time.

I hate the way people here turn on the team the moment things don't go our way.

It's times like these when the subpar and inexperienced coaching hire is quite glaring.

Doesn't know when to do what's needed to make a difference from his end in important games. I think every vet coach would've done one or both at 4-3 but definitely at 4-4.

Exactly what we were talking about here at home. Gio back off conceded 10ft of ice, than loses the battle in the corner. Decides to let Monahan take his man. When Gio should have taken him. Chooses to camp out in the slot ND litterly covers no one.
Then he let's the pass through.
Made 4 crap decisions in less than 20 seconds did absoluty everything wrong.
Earned the minus.

You can't limit a team to zero scoring opportunities. Middle of the road teams need goalies to make a good save every now and again. Elliot has made zero this game. And what makes it worse is he never seems to admit he needs to be better.

All I'm saying is "for once" doesn't really apply when he has made big saves occasionally. Nashville's chances were point blank for the most part. Johnson sure as **** isn't making those saves either in my opinion.

Not goalie's fault. Team in front of him left him flailing in the wind. Pathetic.

You won't find many fan bases that don't turn on their team after blowing a 4-1 lead like the Flames just did.

Wow, I had to step away right after the 4-2 goal. They were looking good, what the hell happened? Don't really care how well the Oreds played, there was less then 10mins left in that period, nothing short of a complete collapse could have happened. Nothing to do with Mathmatics, but this will be the end of the playoff push if they allow this collapse to stand, it will just be way too deflating.
