For once I'd like to see Elliott make a save to bail his team out. Most of those goals are not his fault but I'd love to see a bail out save every now and then.

You just get that sinking feeling. I know what you meant there is just zero confidence with him. I will never, ever, ever understand how he was the best statistics goalie for the past 3 years and goes from that to this...whatever abomination this is.

This team, including the coach, just cannot handle any pressure whatsoever. The minute things start going south, in any situation, whether it be getting behind early or trying to hold a lead, they buckle. It's.....sad.

The 4th goal is on Gio not Monahan, it's not his responsibility to cover for Gio letting his man streak to the net like that.

First we have to do well enough to not have 50+% of our games hoping for a complete bailout from the goaltender.
Then we can ask Elliott to save a game or two.

What happened go Gaudreau? Bennett? Monahan? Players aren't the right fit for the system or system not a great fit for the personnel? I'm amazed they are still in the playoff race with all the top players having miserable seasons.

he made a couple of those saves earlier in the game, we expect too much sometimes

the coaching staff needs to step up and calm the bench down. GG absolutely was part of that meltdown
Calgary has been playing well, even with Rinne not at his best... if calgary scored on one of those two great chances with Sorros in, the game would have been over.
