I agree with you, but I just dont see why.
From an Organizational standpoint the Oilers are one of the worst professional sports teams on the planet.
And yet they still make money.
Now, obviously their fans are to blame for this and ergo they are a group of complete idiots.
Why placate this platoon of maroons? They have given conclusive evidence that they will pay no matter how their team is doing.
What the League should be doing is sapping this well dry.
