Scott Pruitt, President Donald Trump's pick to lead the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the Attorney General of Oklahoma, has spent two years avoiding requests to release more than 3,000 emails between his office and fossil fuel companies.
On Thursday, one day before the Senate is due to vote on Pruitt's confirmation, an Oklahoma judge ordered their release, according to E&E News.

I was in conference all day so I missed the Trump presser, but judging from the comments in this thread it was his most insane moment yet which seems to be the one thing you can count on from Trump: Just when you thought it couldn't get any more mentally unhinged, Trump reveals there's more levels than you could have ever imagined. I wonder if I should dare watch it or just go with the transcripts.
Also his choice to replace Flynn has refused the job. Would be totally amazing/hilarious if he dropped out after the presser.

There was talk about Trump's data operation, targeted ads, dark posts, and voter suppression efforts during the campaign... this kind of brings it all together from a high level view. Sounds like sci-fi, and I'm skeptical about the overall level of coordination and intent, but it's still something that's being done. Long read but interesting IMO.
