Elliot took the team on his back tonight.

I would not say no to 4 lines of Tkachuk/Backlund/Frolik.

What amazing puck luck for that last goal. Was expecting it to drift wide all the way.

overshadowed in the victory over tyranny is the wideman gaffe on the first goal.

but to the victor go the spoils!

I think/hope that lately we've been seeing the real Elliott. There's no way he's really as bad as he looked the first half of the season, hopefully he is as good as he was tonight

This better not be a tease, but if Elliott gets on a roll and starts playing like we think he can...

really important bounce back win...after that last game's effort...

hoping that the team keeps the same intensity on the roadtrip... all the games are so big now...and we have many versus the teams we are battling for the WC spots like nashville, LA... even the Canucks are still lurking...

meaningful games are fun but stressful. hoping elliot and johnson make each other step up their game

Keep him at #4. Plays better with more ice time. Maybe Bartkowski-Jokkipaka bottom pair.

Couldn't watch the game because of work but who would've thought moving Wideman down the lineup would mean better defense? Shocking. Imma write the coyotes game off as a result of a dumb 5 day layoff and burn it in my memory. Look forward to whooping some Canuck ass on Saturday.

Elliott was a big reason for the Flames win tonight. If we can get that type of tending from now on it can only better our odds of making the playoffs.

Wideman was brutal tonight. A part of me hopes that Bartkowski gets signed and is able to play bottom 5-6 minutes so we can bench Wideman for some games. Right now Wideman is a liability on defence.

Wideman effect on the major. It was a love tap by Chaisson with the Flyer player embelishing to draw the major. Stupid move by Chiasson but clearly it was not an intent to injure and should have been called a slash.

Johnny played a really smart game tonight. Clearly the speech by Gully has had an effect on his play. Looked nervous in the first period but got much better as the game went on. Had some chances but no puck luck.

Moooose!!! Great game, we'll see if he can keep it going. Liked the physical edge the guys brought tonight, kept the Flyers honest. Good effort after Monday's debacle.

Like it or not, that's Engelland's (horribly unoriginal hockey cliche) nickname...

Pfft. Good thing you're not the coach. How are we going to give Wideman 20 minutes in your crazy scenario?

We gotta let Johnny figure his #### out. He's been nothing but amazing for us his first 2 years in the league. Growing pains he's only 23, he will figure it out. Tkachuks an animal
