3rd line D-pairing is scary bad. Both Kulak & Wideman.

Agreed. It almost make you think that Wideman was paired with Brodie in earlier games out of necessity to avoid a brutal 3rd pairing. Maybe having Engelland on the 3rd pair stabilized it.

I'd rather Wideman and Jokipakka than Wideman and Kulak. Kevin is more assured in the D zone than Kulak. Kulak has a better shot but who cares?

Couldn't agree more.
Kulak isn't good enough for the nhl, it's as simple as that. Bartkowski will supplant him and they'll be able to send kulak down prior to the deadline.

But Engelland is having an inspired game with Brodie. Great D.

Elliott bailing out Ferland and Brouwer on that shift. Kulak and Wideman looking lost.

Not a great shift, but Flyers were still at the perimeter for all of it.

If the Flames could win a faceoff here, that would be fantastic.

Starting to get a tiny bit worried here. Flyers are really pushing. Thanks to Elliott for making some great saves.

I thought Brouwer looked decent on that shift. Caused the turnover that ferland threw away.
Wideman completely lost

My spidey sense is telling me the Flyers are going to score a goal soon.

I'm having that same feeling that I normally do at this point in the game!
I need some ice-cream.
