If the Flyers score first that will be a bad sign.

If the Flames outscore the Flyers tonight, they'll come out with a big 2 points. However if the Flyers are able to let in less goals then the Flames, unfortunately the Flames will lose this one.

About ####ing time.

Brodie and Engelland played really well together. I think we see that again. Engelland has been solid this year and showing he can lead and join the rush well this year.

Two dmen like this on one pairing could pay off. Also having some one not butter soft with Brodie may diminish the fact that Brodie himself is soft.

I have Rogers Sports Pack (in Ontario) which include NHL Centre Ice but I don't have Sportsnet 360. Is there any way for me to watch this game legally? Pretty ridiculous that I pay $40 a month so I can watch the Flames out of market but because I don't want SN360, I can't see games like tonight.

Correct.

If you look at history as a whole it worked well. I think Engelland is a better player then he was back then too boot.

Yeah, I said a while back I wouldn't mind seeing Engelland get a shot. Brodie does the one thing well that bugs me about Engelland, which is puck moving out of the zone. And Engelland is decent defensively, obviously physical and doesn't have the worst wheels on the backcheck.

I hate his washerwoman play where he goes on all fours, but I've never seen him actually get scored on doing it.

Toonage, I've tried that and it didn't work for me while travelling in BC...unless I had SNET360 on my TV account already. SN Now seems to want to authenticate to whatever cable/contract/whatever you have. I couldn't figure out a way around that, so really the only thing it did for me was let me watch games online on SNW instead of having to put up with SNP and the 'nucks.

Do we have to see this in every single thread now? We get it, you hate GG.

He's not my favorite either, but some responsibility needs to be on the players as well here. To have them completely give up after just barely more than half a season seems off to me. I think things are more likely to be that we are just not as good as we all hoped.

To get on topic, however, I expect a close game. The Flames will need to turn things around after the 5-0 debacle and the Flyers are not top tier either. 3-2 seems reasonable and for the good guys preferably.

That weird. If you subscribe to SN already you just log in with your provider credentials but the SN Now sign up for a free trial should be independent of your cable subscription.

On their front page there are two different links. One for subscriber login and one for a free trial. Just keep clicking on the one that notes a 7 day trial and it will eventually take you to a page to create an account and password.

If Flames let the first goal in I fully expect them to fold like a cheap tent. Oh and #FireGulutzan
