Start of the play was on him, but Wideman got beat pretty badly. I guess you could call interference there but he's not getting that call.

They aren't even rusty as they have outplayed the Coyotes. It's just that the teams bad players are really bad (Wideman) and their best players are bad (Gaudreau).

Yeah, I was thinking that. I think the only way you justify t is saying it was incidental contact and Wideman lost an edge at the same time. But like I said above, he's not getting that call.

Edit: just to be clear, I'm talking about the 2nd goal.

Agreed.
If you can't produce then work your hardest not to be a liability out there at least. I don't like this year's version of Gaudreau as much as the previous two seasons. This guy's playing like a one dimensional quitter.

I just can't believe management can't find a better option anywhere to be the no.4. How can they not see how awful Wideman is, he's exactly what you don't want in a Dman. Slow,small, not physical, turnover machine. But they keep using him over and over again. I've said it before but you are putting yourself at a huge disadvantage with using Wideman in the top.4 every ####ing night. ####ing insane
