Datsyuk is probably one of the best players I've ever seen. Total package, and a complete game changer. Not much that guy couldn't do. I still watch his breakaway highlights on youtube, and give them a go on my Atom goalies. I encourage all my kids to emulate him and Toews, even though they have no idea who he is lol.

Iginla for obvious reasons.

Nieuwendyk (followed by Roberts). Tough call there. I was just a wee lad when he was challenging Mike Bossy for rookie scoring records. I still remember being crushed (for whatever reason) when he fell a couple short. I also still remember trying to be a Devils fan when he got traded there from Dallas, and I recall quite vividly not being able to watch that style of hockey. That's when I realized that win or lose, I will always be a Flames fan no matter how bad they are.

In my opinion there was an 18month period where huselius was the most magical player on the league.

Everything about him was unique, his face, his chinstrap, his jersey tuck, his shin pads, his weird little shaved down stick handle and blade.

Huselius was a magician on skates.
