Has the actual constitutionality of the ban been heard in any court yet.
I thought the Boston judge had a stay for those in transit and the Seattle judge put a stay on the entire law until the law has been tested by the courts
So my understanding is all courts have done so far is ruled that the plaintiffs have a material complaint, would suffer irreparable harm if the law was enforced and are likely to succeed on the merits.
This is different then declaring the executive order unconstitutional.

^Not yet, GGG. But the strength of the Ninth Circuit's rejection of the appeal of the stay should give an indication of what the court views the likelihood of the government's chances of success are.

And they didn't get the target. Which is, you know, the only relevant metric for judging the operation's success or failure. Was the objective achieved? No. Pretty clear.

I really enjoy how the entire world collectively laughs when the US President tweets something. Talk about unifying.

Considering the operation also resulted in Yemen withdrawing permission to run any more antiterror ground operations on their soil, simply failing the mission would have actually been an improvement.
Plus maybe they could have found a way to fail the mission without all the dead children. And the dead Navy SEAL.
Trump is truly redefining the word 'success'.

I also read that the intended target survived the attack and has mocked the Republican led attack. Lol, "success".

Does Trump the Repulican Administration seem to be working in "Prime Time"?
I do not have evidence of this, purely antidotal, but does it seem like his big news comes out during prime time? E.g. - The EOs, the SCOTUS announcement etc.
It's a low level theory but I think the Big Orange does it to keep up his ratings?
Perhaps a strategy to keep the focus on him while the real damage that the house and senate are doing daily are not covered?
Maybe I'm off base.

Overheard at food court today: "they are stuck with Trump, but we are stuck with Trudeau and Notley".

I've made a conscious effort to watch both CNN and Fox News lately (as I typically tune in to CTV News), and regardless of whether one network is left or right leaning, the only real conclusion I've come to is that I would love to punch Tucker Carlson in the face. What a horrible host.

I think the republican strategy isn't to use him as cover but instead using him as a shield. As soon as the republicans start to slip in popularity or are threatened by primaries from the centre right they will impeach trump who will then be blamed for all of the problems even if congress caused just as many as the executive branch. They are sitting on a reset button to be deployed in about 18-36 months.

Nope. Not a Nazi. Face punching is not allowed.
We will, however, allow a forearm shiver to the kidney or a throat chop. We're not monsters.
