Pretty sure she was singing at least 2/3 of that... Unless they intentionally made a recording where she screwed stuff up and went off key a bunch.

I thought they were mandated a few years ago to lip synch everything. No discretion in that? The Chili Peppers mocked it by unplugging instruments?

Does it matter if she lip synced though? When Brittany Spears lip syncs it's annoying because she's poorly covering up for her lack of talent. Everyone knows Gaga is amazing live

I forgot about that, but if that was lip synced they did an amazing job of faking it. She was legit out of breath a few times, flat in several others, late on at least one cue. I think the part where she was hanging from a wire was probably recorded, and obviously there was a backing track but it was pretty convincing.
