The bottom two lines need to go over their defensive responsibilities and take a good look at that tape.

A few goals were on bad team defence. Should not be any guys left alone on the doorstep when all 5 Flames are back in their zone.

Liked the push (a lot) but we shouldn't have had to dig ourselves out of those holes to begin with.

Gutsy effort, was an entertaining game.

Reading the GT I gotta say...

Some fans might want to try not viewing the game through a microscope, you will find it a more enjoyable experience that way. The other team has professional players too.

Fun to watch though. The team is playing a lot tougher and sticking up for one another of late.
He's a winger, not a centre.

Put him with Backlund and Frolik and let them work their magic on him.

Put Tkachuk on RW top line.

What did Versteeg do to get the misconduct?

Something just awful. Horrific. He... didn't tie his jersey down.

This means Johnson takes back the net for the upcoming game versus the Pens.

It will be interesting to see how the Chad plays and if he wants the net back before their 5 day break.

Hard to be mad at the team. Good effort all around. But those are the types of losses that sting the most. So close all game, deserved to win. Sometimes it's easier to swallow a loss when we just look listless because at least then I never got my hopes up.

Showed the replay again, that third goal wasn't deflected.

Best road loss of season!

One of the first times I felt they might snatch some of that 2014-15 last second goalie pulled magic!

Versteeg wave made it memorable!

This team starting to stand up for each other as a team. Perhaps a turning point if we could get some .920+ goaltending.

Elliott's reaction even told you he even felt it was bad.

Missed the game but nice to see they had a good showing in the effort department. The Rangers are one of the best teams in the NHL for a reason. Better team won.

Nice to see Gaudreau and Monahan stay on the score sheet. Can't comment much more than that.

It's clear to me now why he's never been see as a true #1 despite good numbers. There's always going to be one or two "Brian Elliott would sure like that one back" moments every game. If this team is only going to go as far as our goaltending wil take us, we aren't going to the playoffs.

A good game by pretty much everyone so who do we blame, Elliott, come on, really. If i really had to blame anyone there were a couple of clear shooter versus goalie in that third period and we missed the goal, Bennett being one, but honestly no one was to blame it was a good game that just went the other way.

Love these lunchtime games, as they are early evening here and I can enjoy a jack and coke or three and watch some live flames hockey, whats not to love.

Pretty fun game, though I missed the first half, darn afternoon games.

So much more energy and pace than before the break. The games still matter so the hockey will be quite entertaining for the next few months.

Not tipped, not top shelf. And from far enough out that, even if it was, it is stoppable.

I'm not one of the Elliott haters here, but it wasn't a good goal.

Agree with this suggestion, a lot of guys could learn a lot playing on a line with Backlund and Frolik. I thinking putting Bennett on that line for a period of time might get him feeling it again.

Looked like the reaction of a goalie who had it, and it was deflected off his own defenseman passed him. There is a clear replay of this on the NHL ap (Ranger broadcast) so please don't argue the fact it was tipped.

Just piling on Elliot for the sake of piling on.
