Some fans might want to try not viewing the game through a microscope, you will find it a more enjoyable experience that way. The other team has professional players too.

Hard to be mad at the team. Good effort all around. But those are the types of losses that sting the most. So close all game, deserved to win. Sometimes it's easier to swallow a loss when we just look listless because at least then I never got my hopes up.
Missed the game but nice to see they had a good showing in the effort department. The Rangers are one of the best teams in the NHL for a reason. Better team won.
Nice to see Gaudreau and Monahan stay on the score sheet. Can't comment much more than that.
Hate to put the blame on the goalie, but the game came down to first one to blink and it was Elliott. A wrister from the blue line with no traffic should not go in like that.
It's clear to me now why he's never been see as a true #1 despite good numbers. There's always going to be one or two "Brian Elliott would sure like that one back" moments every game. If this team is only going to go as far as our goaltending wil take us, we aren't going to the playoffs.

A good game by pretty much everyone so who do we blame, Elliott, come on, really. If i really had to blame anyone there were a couple of clear shooter versus goalie in that third period and we missed the goal, Bennett being one, but honestly no one was to blame it was a good game that just went the other way.
Love these lunchtime games, as they are early evening here and I can enjoy a jack and coke or three and watch some live flames hockey, whats not to love.

Put him with Backlund and Frolik and let them work their magic on him.
Put Tkachuk on RW top line.
Agree with this suggestion, a lot of guys could learn a lot playing on a line with Backlund and Frolik. I thinking putting Bennett on that line for a period of time might get him feeling it again.

Elliott's reaction even told you he even felt it was bad.
Looked like the reaction of a goalie who had it, and it was deflected off his own defenseman passed him. There is a clear replay of this on the NHL ap (Ranger broadcast) so please don't argue the fact it was tipped.
Just piling on Elliot for the sake of piling on.
