Hamilton sure gets the puck to the net a lot.
Quick release with accuracy. Good qualities.

Must have been a different play than I was talking about.

I do notice that Brodie's pass to Wideman is a little short quite often. Not exactly in his skates but not out to his stick blade.

But IMO they've been OK. Gio has struggled a bit.

But somehow it seems they get pretty even minutes.

How Hamilton gets about the same minutes as Wideman is beyond me.

Jyrki really should have shot that quicker.

Good defense by Engo.

It has been a pretty solid response by the Flames after the Rangers goal.

Jokipakka has been pretty underwhelming this season. was hoping he would take another step but instead he seems to just be 'there'

Jokipakka has to know better than that. You can't walk in from the blueline and then fluff a muffin pass to the net, it's almost guaranteed to go back the other way as a two on one.

kind of seems like they're targeting the wrong demographic.

You must not read much then because I defend him a lot. But he's been atrocious the last few weeks especially.

Gaudreau really seems to be concentrating on the defensive side of the game recently.

I've got a hilarious idea. How about for one game thread, no personal rifts between posters, just comments on the game. I feel like we could achieve it if we try really hard.
