Looks like all they did in practice is stand around and pose for pictures.

Man, I wish the did something like this when I was still there. I'm not really the type to fawn over hockey players, but seeing them play in Central Park is pretty cool.

Good to see some fellow Flames fans at the rink.

Thanks for posting the photos and vids! Out of curiosity--were the fans you met mostly ex-pat Calgarians/Canadians, or native New Yorkers who ultimately made the correct fandom choice?

Chatted with an ex-Calgarian now from Vancouver but studying at NYU, wearing the #13 in white.

That's pretty awesome, not just from a fan perspective, but as a player, getting back and playing on an outdoor rink has to feel great.
P.S.
thanks for sharing the pics and vids guys.

Why are you still posting in a thread that you didn't find newsworthy
That's why people are piling on. It's annoying when someone goes into a thread to tell everyone something is boring. If you find of boring just don't click on it. Dead simple

So between two regular posters who were chatting between obviously dedicated Flames fans it didn't occur to either of you to bring up Calgarypuck even once in the conversation to see if the other was a poster? That is a major fail, guys.

I only posted once and left the thread. Then people kept quoting it and my tapatalk would notify me. Not like I kept arguing a point or something.

10 - 12 years ago my wife was talking to our neighbours here in Edmonton about what a hockey nerd I was. That I would even spend time on this Calgarypuck website.

That's when the neighbour revealed himself as Fozzie de Bear, also a CP member.

I still chuckle about that.
