This is actually a tweet from 2014. I guess he was being honest.

"@damiranz: DonaldTrump: Pls don't run for president. If you do and win, the rest of the world would be screwed" So true, (except friends)!
Hasn't this order been picked apart by at least three judges in three states so far? Good luck with that one, guys.
Meanwhile in Arkansas, Republicans are so fearful of radical Islam that they are adopting parts of it. Namely, proposing an anti-abortion bill that basically says the husband owns his wife's body: http://www.independent.co.uk/news/wo...-a7561066.html
Just days before his inauguration, President-elect Donald J. Trump stood beside his tax lawyer at a Midtown Manhattan news conference as she announced that he planned to place his vast business holdings in a trust, a move she said would allay fears that he might exploit the Oval Office for personal gain.
However, a number of questions were left unanswered — including who would ultimately benefit from the trust — raising concerns about just how meaningful the move was.
Now, records have emerged that show just how closely tied Mr. Trump remains to the empire he built.
While the president says he has walked away from the day-to-day operations of his business, two people close to him are the named trustees and have broad legal authority over his assets: his eldest son, Donald Jr., and Allen H. Weisselberg, the Trump Organization’s chief financial officer. Mr. Trump, who will receive reports on any profit, or loss, on his company as a whole, can revoke their authority at any time.
What’s more, the purpose of the Donald J. Trump Revocable Trust is to hold assets for the “exclusive benefit” of the president. This trust remains under Mr. Trump’s Social Security number, at least as far as federal taxes are concerned.
Quote:
While the trust structure, outlined in documents made public through a Freedom of Information Act request by ProPublica, may give the president the appearance of distance from his business, it drew sharp criticism from experts in government ethics.
“I don’t see how this in the slightest bit avoids a conflict of interest,” said Frederick J. Tansill, a trust and estates lawyer from Virginia who examined the documents at the request of The New York Times. “First it is revocable at any time, and it is his son and his chief financial officer who are running it.”
It feels like Trump is building a structure in the government similar to some in the Middle East where the news is propaganda driven by the government's agenda, policies are framed around nationalism and religion (Christianity in this case as opposed to Islam) is a crucial part of the government.
Tomi Lahren is on Real Time with Bill Maher tonight. Sam Harris is as well, although he might just be the initial interview guess. Either way, I hope they rip her a new one and make her look foolish.

She wasn't too bad. Got booed once or twice but good for her on going on. That show needs Republicans anyways. Can't remember the other Republican from the Daily Beast but I agreed with him a lot. And Sam Harris was good.
Not sure how many others saw this story, but all I can say is 'good!'.

An Iranian infant previously unable to reach Portland for heart surgery due to President Donald Trump's travel ban is now being allowed to enter the United States.
As reported by the New York Daily News, Fatemah Reshad will receive a waiver to enter the United States in order to receive a vital heart surgery. New York governor Andrew Cuomo worked with the International Refugee Assistance Project to petition for a waiver, and doctors at Mt. Sinai hospital in New York City have agreed to do the surgery for free.
I keep thinking the US and Russia are going to work out a deal where the US gets a pass to invade Iran in exchange for a dissolution of NATO and inaction on Russia's efforts to restore the USSR.
I am hesitant to post this because there are some that will take this as an opportunity to turn this into another discussion about Harris, which I do not want this to be. Some comments on his talk.
First, the left is a pretty big slice of the political pie right now. The center point has shifted so far right, that the majority of the representative spectrum is on the left. Saying this is a problem for the left is way too inclusive.
Second, Islamists and the religious fundamentalists are RW extremists. They are arch-conservatives and have more in common with the Mike Pences of the world than the Bernie Sanders.
Third, and this is my biggest problem with this narrative, is that not all Muslims in the ultra-conservative movement are radical Islamic terrorists. Just like all the protesters at Berkley were not all radicals. Just because there were a bunch of nutty anarchists doing what they do does not make the rest of the protesters, or the protest itself, a violent display. And those anarchists have more in common with the extreme right than the left they were supposedly there to support with their protest.
Fourth, if you really believe that Muslims need to eliminate the ultra-conservative idealists in their religion and culture then should we not be prepared to do the same? Christian Nationalism is a growing problem we should be aware of and recognize they are armed to the teeth and have been responsible for violence and terrorism as well, just not quite covered to the same levels of the jihadists.
Yes, Muslims have to take leadership in changing what is acceptable in their culture, but it appears we have some work to do in our own right. Harris, who is a member of the left as well, needs to recognize we're talking about a very small slice of the left who are defending a very small slice of the right. Oh, and ISIS is the Muslim version of the KKK. I don't understand how he does not see this contrast.

“The opinion of this so-called judge, which essentially takes law-enforcement away from our country, is ridiculous and will be overturned!” Trump tweeted at 8:12 a.m.
Bannon is NOT a political operator. I wish the press would stop giving him the respect of his office. Bannon is a hate mongering anarcho fascist. Stop candy-coating what this ######bag is.
