I don't mind the idea of picking up either of these players but I don't think the Flames can afford to give up Johnny. Usually when the Flames trade with Colorado, we fleece them.

Would probably do duchene for Bennett but would be sad cuz I love sammy bennett and think he's gonna figure it out soon and be a fantastic player. Wouldn't go for landy however unless the price was cheap not a huge fan of his game tbh

No way this happens....You know Colorado is looking for defence right? Swap out gaidreau with Gio and Benett with Backlund and you have something Colorado would consider bit no reason for the flames to make that trade, just bad trade partners all around really.
