Boris Johnson with a ringing endorsement of Trump.
More than one million citizens of the U.K. have signed a petition in protest of an official state visit by President Donald Trump. The petition explains that while Trump should be allowed in Britain, an official state visit would "cause embarrassment to Her Majesty the Queen."
To that, some British politicians say rubbish, the BBC reports. A state visit from "a democratically elected president of our closest ally and our single biggest trading partner" is "absolutely in our national interest," Tory MP Philip Davies argued. The U.K.'s Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs Boris Johnson added that "both Nicolae Ceaușescu and Robert Mugabe have been entertained by Her Majesty."

But Bannon is still a regular attendee and the head of the joint chiefs of staff was not added back as a regular attendee. He oversteps by a yard and walks back a foot and people say "look, he saw the error of his ways and fixed it"

But we've already proven in this thread that toddlers with guns are more dangerous than terrorists.

I'm told reliably there is a draft Executive order on LGBT issues including adoption. Details and timing unclear.

I wonder how long it's going to be until the hammer drops on the LGBTQ community. Given how fast everything has been moving I'm guessing not very long.
Edit: That was a little quicker than I was expecting...

I think I'm on board with the LGBT adoption restrictions. It's unfair for some kids to be so ahead of the curve in understanding fashion that early in life.

Wow, its almost like he doesnt plan on staying long so hes just got to get everything done right away.
Or maybe this is like the bet in 'Trading Places' and someone bet Ol' Don that he couldnt get elected President and sewer the country within his first few weeks.
It does tend to feel that we are either the butt of a depressingly cruel joke or bystanders to a sadistic bet.

With VP Pence and the general borderline homo-erotic preoccupation with gays, lesbians and 'alternative lifestyles', this was going to be coming as well.
In my opinion, there are to egregious pieces of political theatre operating right now:
1) That Trump has not surrounded himself with, and may himself be, a fascist.
2) That outside of the statements and signings that paint him as a fascist, the rest of his administration is standard, obvious, previously attempted GOP playbook policy initiatives.
Some/Most of this #### was going to happen regardless of which empty suit ended up winning the GOP nomination. Some of it might even be relatively tamed; we haven't seen anything regarding abortion, separation of church and state or gun control at the federal level. If it had been President Cruz or President Rubio or President Huckabee, you'd likely see those kinds of initial Executive Orders.

His plan seems to be to keep a constant state of turmoil on the go.

also in regards to lgbt rumours I would imagine part of excising the military from decisions may be partially about re-introducing don't' ask don't tell.

So LGBT issues was made you realize President Comacho is a complete and total loon, non-representative of the large majority (61-39 support gay marriage and the rights that go along with it)?

Come on man, peter is obviously saying the political climate in the US will stand up for gays and lesbians even more fiercely than muslims.
