Our labour costs are more than those in the US? Maybe for low-skilled labour. I think, for example, engineering salaries are pretty reasonable judging by some Monster ads that I was browsing that showed salaries.
I can't comment about the tax structure though.

Is that where we're going?

From Wiki.
King Edward Medical University (Urdu: جامعہ طبی کنگ ایڈورڈ) is a medical university located in Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan. Founded in 1860, the university is named after the Edward VII.
Established by the British Raj, named as Lahore Medical School. In 1868, the University of Dublin granted students of the Lahore Medical School ”privilege similar to the granted to students from English schools”. In 1871, the university added Mayo Hospital as an affiliated hospital, replacing the existing Anarkali Dispensary. The same year the college became an affiliate of University of the Punjab, while in 1887, the university added Lady Aitchison Hospital as a second teaching hospital.
After Pakistan's independence, the university became the only medical college in the country and in 2005 became a charter to award degrees in its own right. It has since gone through expansion, and overseas seven tertiary referral hospitals including the Lady Willingdon Hospital.

No, it's that standards are very different in other countries.
Pharmacists trained in India get a different curriculum than us. We get mostly clinical, they get more pharmaceutical (like making and studying drugs).

So 82 pages in the last week. Not sure that I can get through it all before it expands another 82. Anyone game to give me a coles notes version of the thread? Might be funny to see differing views on the recap if more than one is game. If not thats ok too, I will pick it up from here.

Of course, but it would take a few hours to do a basic check of educational standards, a few months more to run an in depth check that would either allow or not allow a university course in any other country be checked by a professional body here, after that anyone from the University aught to be considered qualified, most of what stops foreign qualifications from being accepted is an attempt to keep a closed shop to keep wages higher.

It's sad that I'm sure Judge Wapner would be a much more reasonable choice than whoever he actually picks.

This seems kind of damning.

Which is obnoxious, but not, like, utterly crazy. Just sort of GOP gonna GOP... when Obama was in office everything he did was totally wrong according to them. Like I say, I don't really recall the issue.
Worth noting that Al Jazeera is owned by members of the royal family of Qatar, and tends to reflect that bias, especially in terms of ripping the Saudis. Not that that de-legitimizes the article necessarily (people constantly attacking sources instead of content annoys me), just worth keeping in mind when looking at their reporting.

I just looked mine up, because I know he's from the middle east as well. He's from Libya. Nice dude, he's on the way to solving my nerve pain issue so he's all good in my book.

Fox News is partly owned by Saudis. Trump will never ban them.
And yes, I know there's other reasons.

I wonder how the Saudis will react when the 9/11 lawsuits start. Can Trump stop those?
