I started on Sportsnet, then quickly switched to CBC because the crowd noise is better. I did check NBC briefly, but the arena music was pretty quiet on there, so I think the CBC feed is the best.

Playing with Horvat is like playing with Chaisson.

Horvat with another terribly late pass to Gaudreau. By the time Johnny got it, he was too close to the net and two defenders were onhim.

So much for Horvat and Gaudreau not having any chemistry. Johnny is a psychopath, he's murdering everyone.

Lol salty Canuck fans are saying Johnny isn't passing and doesn't pass...can a fan base be any more clueless? Johnny doesn't shoot...to the point where he has to be told to shoot more constantly. Just a dumb fan base.

I actually hope so too. An all-star game may seem like a little thing, but he gets to kick back and not be so serious for a weekend and maybe that'll give him a boost.

The Olympics are a best on best tournament in a brief 3-week window where the players go hard each and every shift. The typical NHL game simply can't compete with it.
Still love my Flames though.

I'd have to say there isn't anything that quite compares with a good NHL Playoffs series or cup run. The tone of those games just seems to be different.

I wonder if any of them are actually being serious. Cuz I certainly am not, like my post earlier about JG dragging Horvat down.

I'm reading people say it on twitter and pretty sure 80% of them aren't being serious.

There's always hope! The Flames can win the cup this year
Maybe I just like longer seasons and the journey rather than a quick tournament where games are great from the quarters onward (thats 7 games every 4 years!)

What could they possibly be complaining about, Horvat has two pretty damned nice goals, one more or less entirely because of Johnny.
That was almost the goal of the day.

Wonder what those idiots are saying about Gaudreau's role in the last (Horvat) goal

I love how the Pacific division for two years is the only one that has a bit of a "give a ****" meter and you can see the other divs play up to it a bit.
