Gaudreau to me seems like he's trying hard to always be in the right position instead of just doing what has made him successful until now and that's being a rover that keeps skating all over the ice. He doesn't seem to be skating as much rather sitting in the neutral zone.
I remember the last few years his forechecking would cause mayhem for the defenders. Wish he'd go back to that.
