Memories are so short. They had a stretch where they were blanked in like 5 of 8 games.

Looks like the Sens are catching fire just in time for our next game.

Flames exceeding my expectations so far - I honestly expected the Massacre in Montreal tonight.

To be fair, it's coming from a vocal minority. It's the same posters over and over and it's getting tiring to read.

Red Wings are up on the Bruins and if that lead holds I expect Julien to be fired tonight or tomorrow. Hopefully Flames can get in on the Julien sweepstakes as I expect Islanders, Las Vegas, and Panthers will be inquiring.

I could provide a detailed description of the situation but instead I'll keep it brief: The butts. We suck them.

I know he has a good rep but honestly don't know much about him, you've seen him more than I have. I'm actually curious what your thoughts are.

Things will get better. Question is will they get better soon enough for them to save their playoff hopes and for it to matter.
1st goal was on Brouwer. His man scored.
2nd goal was partially on Johnny and partially on Johnson. Horrific giveaway by Johnny but the Chad should've stopped that shot.

I don't agree that the Flames have quit on their coach. There's little evidence he's a good coach but doesn't seem they've quit on him to me. They are gripping their sticks so tight, its just painfully apparent.

Flames aren't firing Gully and hiring someone like Julien
They are to cheap
Paying 3 coaches including Julien who would have a higher price tag - no way

This would be great.
I want GG gone and a proven coach in so badly.

Mills and Lou say goaltending is killing the Flames confidence. Saying they've never seen the Flames this rattled.

I highly doubt bringing Scotty Bowman in would fix some of these issues. The players need to be held accountable by one another.
I'm not against making a coaching change at some point if this continues, but I don't have high hopes the players will stop being idiots out there.

This is a nice thought but not true. I've never watched a team sport in my life where the coaching/manager wasn't instrumental in the teams success. Every ship needs a captain to guide it in the right direction. The players are confused, frustrated, and have lost confidence. And yes, that also falls on the coach. You would look bad too if you went to work and your manager was telling you to do things that were in contrast to your best abilities that weren't working.
