I guess it really is an improvement, Hiller used to let in the first SOG. Advanced stats probably favor the Flames that period too. Price will get a shutout.

Lineup changes aren't part of the system though. If they move Bennett to the wing for a couple games it's probably smart. You don't want a coaching change though.
A significant chunk of the Flames problems stem from positions and matchups. Everyone and their dog knows Brodie shouldn't play with Wideman but there you go.

Bennett was in proper position there. He was covering the right point defenseman. Browner who should have been covering the goal scorer was puck watching.
