Still tough to watch, no question.

I appreciate your optimism, I really do, but there is almost zero chance in 3 weeks they'll likely look like world beaters. Johnson's spectacular run hid the fact that this is a lottery team with Mr. Emotionless behind the bench.

What does that prove? I'm not arguing the entertainment value of the team this season.

They say a team takes on the personality of the head coach and that's certainly true as this team has the emotion and intensity of a cardboard box.
GG2.0 - quickly moving into original GG territory as one of the worst coaches in franchise history

This team was always going to be in the mix for a playoff spot and you know what, they are. But in the mix means they are going to be a 7-10th ranked team out of 15. And that means peaks and valleys. This is as bad as the start to the season but there's nothing to say they can't pull out of it again.
It's an absolute joke some of you are looking at lottery odds and picks at this point in the season. They're in a playoff spot today. That's not rose coloured glasses, that's just facts.

Fire Sigalet, there has got to be someone, anyone, who can do a better job.
Fire Gultzan, keep him as assistant if you want, hire Gerard Gallant.
Bring up some beef from the farm, Kanzig, Devane, Smith and let them go to town. You know, someone who might actually defend our star player?
Put Brodie and Gio back together for god's sake.

Treliving and Burke do not serve to have a player of Johnny's calibre if they are not willing to protect him.
Most teams in the NHL would have gone ape shape if that happened to one of their stars. Especially his size.
Gulutzan response having a goofy mouth covered conversation with the ref. Way to stand up for your players there superstar #notmycoach.

Watching the post game presser from Gulutzan is tough, he wasn't really upset about tonight's effort. If he had a "who has more testicles match" with Lance Armstrong, he'd lose by 3.
Edit: Some reporter asked Gulutzan if he was upset about the hit on Gaudreau. He said simply yes.
Really? Should the media even have to ask if you're pissed that your most skilled player takes a shoulder on the chin? No they shouldn't have to ask. He should be showing it on the bench.
