The team has too many glaring issues. Still need a #1 goalie, a #1 RW, and a #3 or 4 defenceman to start.

But the biggest concern is that our most talented players (the ones that should be the most dependable) have been downright bad and disappointing for most of the year.

The fact that the team still sits where it does is a testament to how good the Tkachuk/Backlund/Frolik line has been all year.

I'm not a "fire Gulutzan" guy because I've seen some huge strides in a couple areas that were tire fires last year. But the big steps back from some key players is hugely concerning.

Worst of all, Gulutzan talked a lot about the Flames playing an entertaining style of hockey this year and that hasn't been the case.

I try not to get too emotionally invested in the team, but it's hard not to be downright pissed off right now. Looking forward to making my videos for the Tkachuk/Backs/Frolik trio, but the rest... yikes.

Crappy team is still crappy. If they can somehow find it in themselves to be less crappy going forward, that would be great.

The sooner we're out of a "playoff spot", the sooner we can start picking up the pieces from this spectacular tire fire.

I'm actually looking forward to next year and not having to watch some of these bums go through the motions. Until then, I hope they call up a few guys from Stockton for a look (including Rittich). We may not win those games, but at least the effort will be there.
