We will not score any goals until someone has the guts to go to the front of the net

that's it. I have no problem getting up and watching the Flames in the middle of the night, and I know losses are a part of the game. But at least I want to see heart and urgency ... but this group has no balls at all. I actually prefer sleep at this point.

How many times has Versteeg got it in the face tonight with no call? Cripes, this is incredible.

I don't disagree, but Kadri is fair value. I still wouldn't make that trade based on Flames needs, but people were all sorts of undervaluing Kadri around here.

Flames look so un-cohesive. Almost like they are not playing together as a team, but playing as a group of individuals.

Either, no one is buying in, or the system sucks, or locker room drama.

I kind of want the Leafs to keep scoring. Need another blowout so this team makes some changes.

They would be better off making anyone else the intermediate coach.

Treliving has to be held accountable for this bucket of crap.

A paper hat behind the bench would get the same results.

I hope we don't sign the paper hat.

But we probably will.

Burke needs to start riding the bus with these guys. He should make them afraid to get on the bus after a game like this

The ref's must have a mandate from the league concerning Widman, I don't think they will stop until he is no longer a Flame.

The whole hockey club isn't run based on what you would rather watch. You want kylington and Jankowski to be here ? You think it's a good way to develop them?

People on here are so unbelievable.

Maybe this is why most Canadian teams suck. They aren't allowed to suck. Every 2 seasons there is pressure to squeeze into the playoffs via wildcard spot and lose in the first round just because people have no patience and want to be entertained so badly.

Maybe we should be mad at the management who put this team on the ice. Who hired GG. Who signed Gio for the most part of the next decade. Who handed Brouwer his contract. Didn't trade Wideman 2 years ago. Etc etc.

What do you guys expect. We have a top 6 forward who couldn't earn a contract with the oilers this off season. We have a right winger who was booed out of Ottawa.

I think whoever was deluded enough to think this team had aNY business in a playoff race deserves to be let down.

On another note...we can't just go break someone's neck everytime Johnny gets a wacky. Teams are trying to provoke us. Plus who is our enforcer? We have Engelland and nobody else who plays that role. It's not 1980 either. Maybe this is the downside of having a 5 foot 150 lb superstar cornerstone of our franchise. Even Crosby can defend himself and hack back or even drop the gloves if he needs to. Johnny needs to be protected and we have nobody to do that for him. Our team doesn't have that identity. Maybe if he played on Edmonton he would be protected

Totally agree.

Not so much on ice.
