So, just to be clear...

- We have defence getting caught playing forward
- We have forwards getting stuck playing defence
- We have goalies that couldn't stop a beachball if a new contract depended on it

Oh let's not forget that none of them are even capable of hitting the net.

He reminds me of Hiller in the sense that he's a bad goalie.

We have some serial complainers on this forum. They get off by whining about things online. As if we aren't a rebuilding team with 2 back up goalies, no good rw, no physical top 4 d man. Not to mention our best players are under 25. But people are moaning as if we are some Stanley Cup favorite. We are a rebuilding team that is being marketed as a playoff team.

Flames need a quality STARTER that has done well as a STARTER before

not a guy that was in a rotation on a good team

Team looks completely lost in the offensive zone

Can't remember the last time we had a dominate shift cycling the puck during 5 on 5 play and our defence can't hit the net from the point to save their life.

No they're not. They're in the middle of the pack. This is not a last place team, sorry to burst your hyperbole.

Why would he want to play here, he's basically been abused all year and nobody lifts a finger.

I have to tell you, if I had a undersized player on my team taking that kind of abuse, I'd be willing to take a suspension for him.
Johnny quit playing a lot time ago, this might be a bit of a chicken and an egg thing here. Not that I believe they shouldn't have his back

Absolutely. Losing is not the end of the world.

Frankly we shouldn't expect this team to be great, but I would expect us to act like a team out there.

Pretty disappointing Flames were deprived of two 5-on-3's in that period.

The first for the farce embellishment call on Brodie, the second for the wrist-busting slashing non-call on Versteeg on the delayed penalty.

The first 5-on-3 would mean that Johnny would have been spared the headshot, the second 5-on-3 would probably avoided the shorthanded goal against.

EDIT: And they might have actually scored!

They won't be in the middle of the pack for long when teams play their games in hand.

I just finished changing the wax ring on my toilet. I think it was more enjoyable than watching this game.
