OK, Teletoon, WTF?
These 'so called' cartoons are just plain friggin wierd. At least by the preview spots...
Aside from the more normal ones, like Simpsons and Family Guy, there doesnt seem to be anything on that resembles something outside of David Lynch's wet dreams...

That's the sad state of cartoons since the 80s died out and great shows could nolonger be financed by massive toy sale and advertising. Plus most of what teletoon has on at night is supposed to cater to a more adult audience but cartoons in the recent 10-15 years have all this demented wierd nightmarish quality to them - plus I can't stand the current popular styles of animation - either try-hard extreme anime clones animated in Korea, or stylized and simplified art done in the American style.
The only thing good on there is Robot Chicken.

WDF!
I love the late night crazy stuff. Robot Chicken, Aqua Teen Hunger Force, Harvey Birdman, all great to me.
All we need is a full lenth Tek Jansen Adventure... and more H Jon Benjamin... some Dr. Katz repeats again would be swell.

Robot Chicken, Futurama, Family Guy, Aqua Teen Hunger Force, and Harvey Birdman are amazingly hilarious. Space Ghost from Coast to Coast has some amazing episodes, but also some downright terrible episodes. Tripping The Rift has it's moments, but Squidbillies is just a terrible show.

clone high is a great show too. However, they never made enough episodes.

Someone should make a petition and get them to play some of the old 80's classics like Transformers, GI Joe, Masters of the Universe, the Smurfs and the oldies like the Flintstones and the Jetsons.

I forgot about Thundercats....good show. Remember the short lived cartoon Prostars? It was a cartoon featuring Greztky, Jordan and Bo Jackson fighting crime and helping children with their athletic abilities. How cheesy was that.

man prostars was a kickass serial though.
looked like the 'jagged metal krusty-o'...
robot chicken is disgustingly funny, and it's 10 minutes long. how perfect is that.
it's off youtube now but the armageddon spoof is almost the funniest thing i have ever seen.
'im 62 years old, im just an actor, you people are insane'
'go get em han solo'

Samurai Jack was by far the best show on teletoon. I'm not really surprised it was cancelled though... episodes that sometimes go for 15 minutes without any dialogue probably don't bring in the viewers. Though apparently one of the conditions that Genndy Tartakovsky had for producing the Clone Wars series for the cartoon network was that he would be allowed to go back and the finish the his vision for Samurai Jack afterwards. So maybe there's hope that it'll be resurrected.

I gotta say, I think that "Bromwell High" was far and away the funniest show I ever saw on Teletoon. And another example of a show that they just didn't last long enough... one season? What is that all about?

Samurai Jack was never on Teletoon.
Old shows like MOTU, Transformers, GI Joe and all their 80s ilk will only be seen if the distributer has a huge change of heart.
MOTU is dead, Mattel has more or less killed the line so the chances of seeing this show ever again are pretty close to zero.
GI Joe has a new show out and that means the old one will be buried. Cartoon Network was showing it late at night a while back, but I doubt it's still on with Sigma 6 on now.
Transformers has a small chance. With the new movie being based on the original characters, Sony Re-Releasing the series on DVD and the 20th anniversary for the old movie coming out, I wouldn't be surprised his Hasbro said "Alright lets give the series a run through to wet appetites." It's problem is Hasbro is already working on a new transformers cartoon..
