I have to admit I miss the energy the team played with under Hartley.

Frankly it's sad when Tkachuk is showing the most heart on this team. Maybe give him the "C"

When's your season ticket relocation date Jan.1.?
Haha. We must be near the top of the list. What's funny is our seats are quite good behind the cameras so going to the games is like watching on TV.

I still don't understand why Hartley was let go. Team was on a general upward trend IMO.

Last few games seems to me like Hiller came to town again.

You're better than me. I gave up my seasons many years ago.

I'm with u on this one. However, the Oilers actually had the 3rd overall pick in front of the Flames. If I recall, the Flames had the opportunity to tank further but they allowed the Oilers to finish below them. So, the Flames' second choice is Bennett. However, Bennett is rated 3rd overall before the draft, I can see Treliving picking Bennett, regardless. But a lot of us on this forum were hoping for Draisaitl. Sigh...

Sure, but I still miss Hartley sometimes I can't see him letting this team get swept in a season series against Edmonton.

Team has been bad. A lot of the top guys have had bad years.

Bennet's lack of progression is a major concern. The good news is that he does have time on his side to figure it out.

The comment that the flames are lacking skill is a fair statement. He's the highest pick in franchise history. That's where u have to land high end skill guys to change a rebuilding team's trajectory. The flames have to find a way to get thus kid going. I really think this iteration of the flames rebuild depends on it.

Its that they don't compete, when the going gets tough, they fold like a cheap deck of cards.

Didn't the Flames go 0-6 vs the Oilers in 85-86, before winning the finale, the beating the Oilers in round 2, then going to the finals?

Don't worry, prices should likely rise again next year.

For like the 10th time in 11 years.

Hartley actually made Bennett look good at least.

First time in 31 years...

Sigh

If that doesn't motivate you, I don't know what else to say

I’m always amazed these sportscasters and announcers can call the game with McDavid’s **** in their mouths all the time.

Agreed. I saw Johnny trying to create plays and end up having nobody to pass the puck to. Outside of the Backlund line there seems to be no cohesion on the top 2 lines.
