I did catch a special the other night on NK and it was fairly interesting. My wife found it really interesting as she taught English in South Korea for a year.

North Korea scares me immensly when it comes to Nukes. If a country takes care of it's own people the way NK does, what would they do to outsiders?

BTW "Love-motels" are very noticable in areas outside Seoul like Guri. Just look for the little red light in the window...or so I've been told

history (for those that read it) is rife with examples of countries that have an advantage over another one, and use it to further their own purpose.

if the israeli leadership uses its nuclear ace-in-the-whole to advance some agenda that's not in the long-term interests of the security of their citizens, well that's ok because they're jews, and any criticism of people that happen to be jews is anti-semetic, according to you.

NK does not enjoy that advantage over the US, and soon it won't have that advantage over japan either.

why don't you look at the progression of the posts?

i posted my opinion on the issue at hand, my post included the ideas involving north korean nuclear war and sex.

white doors took issue with my post, and i defended its validity and my opinion, which he had some problem with.

if there's a major problem here, it's you, or it's white doors.

Man I can't even follow the tripe you two spew at each other. All I see is two guys that are incapable of making their points without making it personal. So either put each other on ignore so we don't have to put up with this stuff constantly or don't...but if you guys can't stick to the issues and leave the personal stuff out of it...you'll both be gone eventually.

this would be a lot more appropriate if i found a thread that white doors posted in and hounded him first, EVER.

i don't do that, i have my opinions, and i play defense.

this 'feud' is a pretty one-way one, i don't go hunting for white doors.

There was a documentary on the other night about North Korea. Some British film crew was allowed to "roam around" a little bit with a bunch of people guiding them about and keeping a close watch. Man, talk about depressing. The whole country, and apparently a large portion of the budget, is is devoted to nothing more than stroking that loons ego.

The whole place (what they were allowed to see) is like a Potemkin Village with ridiculously elaborate and expensive buildings that are empty. The streets were empty. The "guide" at this incredible library talks about "The Leader" like he's god -- like a supernatural presence. Sure enough there is a statue of him sitting on a cloud. The tv crew at one point had to "pay their respects" to a statue of the guy. It's just crazy. I knew it was bad, but sheesh, it's like something out of a movie.

The worst part was a bunch of little kids were practicing some crazy ritual they'll have to perform and they were practicing for six hours, waving some sticks around.

It looks like he's got a pretty tight grip on that place. Hopefully someone shoots him.

This is the one that I saw as well, what I found funny was the story about these etchings in a tree but when a botanist visited the site and said there was no way that they could be as old as was suggested the tree was cut down and the site declared off limits
