When your time comes
After a conversation with friends the other night, I thought I would open the topic here.
When you die what would you want done with your remains?
Burial? Cremation? Other?
If you are buried, where? Cemetery where you live now or where you are from, if its a different place. Or does it matter to you where?
If cremated, what is to be done with ashes? Scattered somewhere or kept by someone?
Is there another option? Cryogenics or something else?

I'd like to be ridden down a hill like a toboggan.
Or launched towards Alpha Centauri. That'd be cool too.

I learned recently that actually hitting the sun with a misleading (or whatever) is actually extremely difficult. Getting something to the sun would be much easier by going out to the outer planets first, then heading towards the sun.

I wish my dad was cremated so i could have put him in some kind of vessel to keep with me. He asked to be put into the cheapest wood casket me and my brother could build and bury. Apparently that's against the law. Which is weird to me.
We had to spend 2000 on the ####tiest casket we could find. Then we wrote, something, on his casket in marker and put him in the ground.
I want to be cremated I guess. Less of a burden on the earth.
