I went there a few years ago and won't ever go back, actually I don't like going in public pools period.
I walked into the change room and there was a big pile of vomit right on the floor.
There was some guy walking around with a bloody kleenex sticking out of his nose. It was wet so the guy had to have been swimming with the thing in his nose.
Some kid in front of me in a water slide line had a bleeding wound on his back.
Also when I think about swimming in water that countless people have ****ed in and went in with dirty butt cracks it makes me sick. But you get this stuff at every pool I guess. Imagine getting some fat stinky slob's bathwater in your mouth, gross, now imagine getting 500 slob's bath water in your mouth, that's a public pool for you. It's sick.

I'm guessing you avoid a lot of public places then, such as the beach, lakes, oceans, toilets....
Pools have chlorine in them for a reason.

edit: Hmmm I guess chlorine is a by product of salt water anyhow

Lake water and ocean water is adequately diluted for me so I don't mind swimming in it. Mind you after houseboating stories I've heard out in the shuswap that water could be pretty nasty too.

Is it to make the ride faster or to compensate for the friction caused by the mullets and cutoff jean short bathing suits that are so fashionable in Edmonton?
