That led to the odd man rush and goal.
No Timbit if you see Brodie led the rush so a winger should cover. Gaudreau was right behind Brodie and he lost the puck. If you are going to be bi...Inge about someone get your facts right.

Where was Brodie hoping to go? In the corner? It was a dumb play by Brodie, all he had to do was not get caught and lose the puck and that's exactly what he did. The Preds were covering well so no idea what he was trying to do in the corner.

First goal he was lost again. He's having a tough season.

Exactly, Brodie rushed, no forward covered and Wideman played that 2 on 1 about as poorly as is possible. Not Brodie's fault, our D is built to rush.

How many accounts do you have tucked away? It's impressive honestly.

I understand that sometimes star players have bad seasons, but when the majority of your best players are having bad years (all but Hamilton, Backlunch and Frolik), then some blame needs to fall on the coach.

I curse the day we didn't even bother to call Boudreau.
I have to agree that this is on Gulutzan. This was a must needed win against a team directly chasing the Flames at a available WC spot, and not only are the Flames not prepared, but the team isn't getting better as the season progresses. There's no longer an excuse for new season, missed training camp, etc. The guys should be in mid-season shape and have had 40+ practices and 40+ games.

If you ask any manager what's more important, a rookie coach, or 5 struggling core roster players, which group should get the ax? Hopefully this is the last season the Flames employ Gulutzan.

We haven't been great, but Nashville's goalie has also been really good.

I am the first to agree he is having a tough season but blaming him when he was the Flames player carrying the puck there should be someone covering for him.

No. We haven't been great. He hasn't been seriously tested. A few close-in chances, but nothing overly difficult I don't think. Too much from far out, no traffic and easy to see. One decent screen.

I think our offensive players are just bored and having no fun playing in a more defensive system. They're uninspired. Meanwhile our more defensive forwards seem pretty chuffed with the situation.

I do miss the Hartley style. So many boring games this year.
