Not sure I understand what you're saying. Was Anonymous - the hacking group - linked to Bridgegate? Does Bridgegate represent all the wheelings and dealing of the US political community? I haven't been able to find any information confirming either of those assumptions, assuming you are making them.

No, but there is incriminating evidence of stuff that politicians do, that is stored in electronic formats. There is evidence like this for all of us. No one is perfect and I assume that everyone has something in thier history they would not want released to the public.

It isn't like these guys are passing around a yellow pad and burning the notes at the end of the meeting.

Edit: to be clear, I don't think Anon will be very fruitful in their search, and if they are, it will be shouted down as coming from 400lb Clinton Lovers sitting on their beds. It won't be because there isn't evidence to be found though

yeah, it didn't help that the identities of some of the key people in the group were outed and they were subsequently charged or became informants for law enforcement. Now they are pretty much a bunch of kids just messing around.

For a brief period of time, they had an impact, but it went to their heads.
