Feel kind of bad for those guys. Big names can afford to take a stand, but these guys aren't exactly rollin' in it.
Particularly since they weren't even playing the inauguration. They were playing a New Jersey pre-inaguration thing, which they also played in 2009 and 2013 when Obama was elected.
With deepest apologies to our fans and the New Jersey Inaugural Ball committee, the B Street Band is withdrawing from performing at this year’s inauguration Gala.
Our decision is based SOLELY on the respect and gratitude we have for Bruce and the E Street Band. Bruce’s music has been the foundation of our livelihood. The B Street Band would not exist without the talents of Bruce and our E Street brothers.
We are most grateful to these rock legends and look forward to many more years of emulating and performing the Forever Music, of Bruce Springsteen.

Ok, if he did the third one, he should be able to have a mission accomplished moment for the press.

Really enjoying this whole Obamacare repeal effort by the GOP. They finally won't have a President that will veto the repeal, but the guy coming in just can't shutup about 'everyone will be covered'.
You can just imagine Ryan and McConnell in a meeting with Trump bashing the ACA and Trump agreeing with everything they say, then all agreeing they need to repeal ASAP, the meeting ends with no discussion of replacement, then Trump goes on his phone and tows the Bernie Sanders position.
So awesome.

He's really putting them in a jam, but, in true Trump fashion, what he says and what he does are not mutual. He will just blow it off as lies from the false news media.
Washington (CNN)Rep. Tom Price last year purchased shares in a medical device manufacturer days before introducing legislation that would have directly benefited the company, raising new ethics concerns for President-elect Donald Trump's nominee for Health and Human Services secretary.
Quote:
After Price offered his bill to provide Zimmer Biomet and other companies relief from the CMS regulation, the company's political action committee donated to the congressman's reelection campaign, records show.
So who does Trump invite as the Australian representatives to his inauguration? The PM? Foreign Minister? Leader of the Opposition? Nope, the leader of a fringe racist anti-immigration party that has ~9% support and 3 senate seats.
Washington Post reporter David Fahrenthold, a breakout star of the 2016 campaign for his coverage of Donald Trump's foundation, is CNN's newest contributor.
Fahrenthold was introduced with his new title on "The Daily Show with Trevor Noah" on Monday night, making it official.
Like other CNN contributors who work at major newspapers, Fahrenthold will remain full-time with The Post but will appear on the network regularly.
I hope they don't turn him into a pundit and he doesn't speculate. If he can remain a journalist while appearing on the network it will be a great service to viewers
