Nice work by Monahan to tie it up. Giordano was hooked so bad before the end of the frame. Although watching McDavid take several cross checks in that scrum almost made up for it

Haha are you kidding me
Ive been paying attention to every shift of his and he has made one (ONE!) good play with he puck tonight (a cycle pass in the ozone).
Just from memory, he's turned it over at the offensive blue line, he completely botched a no pressure breakout attempt. He's been as bad as usual today.

Brouwer didn't get an assist on Monahan's goal last night or his goal tonight, but I don't think either happens without Brouwer's work.
Battled in front of the NJ net, taking a defenceman with him, then ran a little pick on an EDM defenceman allowing Monahan to finally get a clean shot off.
